This is a very well-balanced, classic set of Staunton figures. All the figures are made with the utmost care. Particularly noteworthy, as in almost every set originating from India, is the horse figure. Some refer to this model as the 'Laughing Knight', or 'Laughing Jumper'.

All figures have been created from the highest quality boxwood. The black figures have been ebonyised to resemble precious ebony.
