Description
The Empire figures impress with their shape and the material from which they are made. They are made of paduca wood (Pterocarpus sandalinus) for the black figures and boxwood for the white figures.
It is worth noting the imperial aesthetic qualities of the figures - the delightful mane of the jumper made extremely finely and the slenderness of all the runners, which is particularly striking in the tower figure, which usually looks massive here, airy and light.
The Empire figures are not only beautiful, they are also solidly weighted (up to threefold!), which results in much greater stability of the figures. The set comes with two additional hetmans, one for each colour.
The figures are shipped packed in the original cardboard packaging. Each individual figure is protected for transport.
Figures made of red wood may be covered with a slight white tarnish (a type of resin), which can be removed with the included soft cloth.
