We offer our set of Staunton No 4 chess figures packaged in a plastic bag.
The Staunton No 4 King figures, which are 80mm high, are perfect for the No 4 D40 MAH NOTATION and 4+ D45 MAH NOTATION chess board.
They are made from hornbeam wood and stained to give them a slightly rustic finish.
The figures are carefully finished, weighted and felt lined underneath, making them comfortable to hold and move around the chessboard. Such a construction makes the chess pieces safe and the chessboard will not scratch.
The figures were made in Poland by the best craftsmen. Pay particular attention to the horse figure - it is hand-carved with attention to the smallest details.
