The jumper figure has been carved as that of a stallion standing oak. Its appearance may bring to mind Bucephalus, the fearless horse of Alexander the Great.
The ideal chess board for this set of figures should have fields measuring 58-64mm.
The set comes with two extra hetmans (one for each colour).In the event of a pioka to hetman promotion being achieved, the extra hetman can be used as a replacement.
The figures are shipped packed in the original cardboard boxes. Each individual figure is protected for transport.
